Hoy he recibido mi nueva barra. No he perdido tiempo en
desembalarla para ver su construcción y no me ha encantado.
La caja exterior que envuelve es lo de menos, al abrirla nos
encontramos debidamente protegida por una bolsa plástica la funda que esconde
la barra, el leash y… sorpresa. Un kit
para el mantenimiento de las líneas y una mini 5º línea de repuesto.
Today I
received my new bar. I wasted no time in unpacking to see its construction and
I loved it.
The outer

Llama la atención el cambio de
colores y una vez estiradas las líneas el suave grip de la barra, mucho más
blando que el modelo V1.

El chickenlopp se mantiene
cambiando solo los colores. Se cambia el donkey dick, siendo bastante más duro
que el anterior.
Confío en que de esta manera no

impresión es muy buena.
La anilla de la línea de seguridad
ahora es doble para poder colocarla en modo suicida.

Las líneas también son
modificadas (según las especificaciones de SWITCH KITES son más resistentes) y
al tacto parecen enceradas. Destacan sus terminaciones con fuertes y gruesos
pigtails que cuentan con unas etiquetas que no ofrecen duda a la hora de montar
la cometa.

Para mi gusto la mayor y más
importante novedad es el nuevo sistema de seguridad. En el modelo anterior al
soltar la cometa esta no despotenciaba
al 100%. El nuevo sistema parece solucionar este inconveniente.
Sobre el sistema de freno se ha
sustituido el viejo separador por un nuevo sistema por cuyo interior corre la línea
de seguridad hasta unirse con una de las líneas de potencia. Ahora al soltar la
línea de seguridad correría libre despotenciando absolutamente la cometa.
In my opinion the biggest and most important

También ha sido sustituido el terminal
del cabo de freno. En lugar de la antigua terminación en tela ahora encontramos
una bola plástica en cuyo interior hay una pinza con la que sujetar esta bolita
al propio cabo y evitar que quede suelto y se pueda enganchar.

Bajo los flotadores nos seguimos

extremos de la barra vienen acabados con un plástico blando para evitar
accidentes. Seguro que nuestras tablas
